Keep Hope Alive!!!

Have you ever hoped for something so very very badly? I remember when I was a little girl, one Christmas all I wanted was an Easy Bake Oven. (I know I'm telling by age LOL)! How I hoped for that "Easy Bake Oven". I'm sure a few of you may not know what an Easy Bake Oven is. It was a cute little oven with a high voltage light bulb in side that could bake a cake!!! How Clever! (That's funny).

But sure enough when Christmas morning came guess what was under the tree? An Easy Bake Oven!!! "Oh How Sweet It Is"!!!! I'm glad I didn't lose hope. That brings me to the a story about two blind men in Matthew 20th chapter...

Verse: 30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. 31And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. 32And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you? 33They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.

These two blind men heard the commotion, and began to ask what was all the excitement about! They were told that Jesus was passing by. No doubt they had heard about this man name Jesus. They heard how Jesus cured the leper, heard how Peter's mother in law had been healed of a fever...heard how the two demon possessed men were set free and the demons sent into the swines, heard how the man sick with the palsy was healed...heard about the man whose daughter died and was resurrected...heard about the woman with the issue of blood....

...These two blind men heard about this man Jesus. They had hoped one day to see Him and here He is passing by, the one they had hoped to see. They begin to cry out, but those around them told them to be quiet; but if you hoped so long for a thing and it came your way would you had kept quiet? (I would hope not). The bible said that they yelled even the more.

Consider how sad it would have been if they had given up hope. What would have been sadder, if Jesus had passed them by...they knew that He was the only one that could heal them. Thank God, Jesus didn't pass them by.

Even today people are hoping. Romans 8:19 says, For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. We are the sons (children) of God and many are waiting for us to manifest our sonship - by Christ Jesus the Only Hope Of Glory. Many are waiting for us. We have become the hope for those without hope.

Men, women, boys and girls hoping for an encouraging word, hoping to be healed...hoping for an answer... hoping to be set free.... hoping for someone to love them....hoping for someone to care. You are called to bring hope to a dying world...freely you've received and freely you must give.

You must remember to keep hope alive, which is Christ in you, the hope of Glory.
Colossians 1:27.

What an awesome privilege!!!!
